People need high fives just for getting out of bed: being a person is hard sometimes – Kid President
It gives me enormous joy to connect people with resources that might help ease their suffering, which they can use in parallel to, or after, therapy… but please don’t let my enthusiasm overwhelm you 😅 …if you notice yourself feeling a little befuddled with it all, you’re welcome to reach out and ask questions, or perhaps visit again later. Or just try one two books or audios that feel right for you… I am a big fan of baby steps being the way to go, especially when you are already not feeling quite like yourself.
Do you need help right away?
I value providing well-researched information, but what is best for you depends on your own unique and dear self. Please note that this website is not a substitute for therapy or professional advice; it is only a guide. So if you need more support now, reach out and speak to someone who will listen, and who can help you decide on what to do next.
Are you on the waiting list for therapy?
It can be beyond frustrating to wait, when you are wanting and needing to begin right away. Feel free to wander around the website, you may pick up strategies you can start experimenting with. If you want to start making positive changes right away, this post, and this one, may be helpful.
I look forward to working with you!
Are you already attending therapy?
Hey there, hooray and welcome! you are here. I hope this site will help you practice techniques between sessions, and be a place for you to return to perhaps, when therapy has ended.
Are you searching for something on this website?
It can be overwhelming to see lots of resources in one space. If you notice yourself feeling discombobulated by the information here, perhaps only dive in to one or two things and visit again later. Also, it goes without saying, take what resonates with you and works for you, and leave what doesn’t.
If you’re just visiting,
Welcome; please reach out if I can help with anything. The newsletter would help you keep tabs on blog posts and workshops.
