People need high fives just for getting out of bed: being a person is hard sometimes – Kid President
I am passionate about helping you to be more of the person you want to be, experiencing more joy, vitality and meaning in your life. So that you can do the incredible things in the world that only you can do.
Do you need help right away?
I value providing well-researched information, but what is best for you depends on your own unique and dear self. Please note that this website is not a substitute for therapy or professional advice; it is only a guide. So if you need more support now, reach out and speak to someone who will listen, and who can help you decide on what to do next.
Here are some places where you might start.
Are you searching for something on this website?
There’s a little magnifying glass on the top left hand corner of the home page. If you click on it a search bar opens up. Type in what you’re looking for, and the relevant posts will show up. If there’s something you’re looking for which isn’t here (and it’s likely, I am still adding new posts) please let me know.
Are you on the waiting list for therapy?
It can be beyond frustrating to wait, when you are wanting and needing to begin right away. Feel free to wander around the website, you may pick up strategies you can start experimenting with. If you want to start making positive changes right away, a starting point might be this post, and this one. Practising these exercises a few times a day may also be useful.
I look forward to working with you!
Are you already attending therapy?
Hey there, hooray! you are here. I hope this site will help you practice between sessions. I will leave a light on 🙂
Would you like to attend a talk or workshop?
I am running small workshops (15-20 people) locally on topics related to health and wellbeing in midlife and beyond. Subscribing to the newsletter (to the right) is probably the best way to stay up-to-date with when and where these are. (You are also welcome to email me for more information). Booking is essential.
If you’re just visiting,
Welcome; please reach out if I can help with anything. The newsletter would help you keep tabs on blog posts and workshops.
