Midlife & beyond
Middle age can happen at different ages for everyone, somewhere between star gathering, and stew making –
When all the world was old, and we were young,
we lived on fire and dew.
No mountain was too high, no sea too cold;
All night through we gathered stars for breakfast,
mocking those who stayed at home,
to bake the bread and make the stew.
Now, all the world is young, and we are old…
Brene Brown calls midlife “an unravelling… a dangerous kind of suffering, the kind that allows you to pretend everything is OK”.
She says that midlife is when the universe gently places her hands upon your shoulders, pulls you close, and whispers in your ear,
I’m not screwing around… Time is growing short. There are unexplored adventures ahead of you… You were born worthy of love and belonging. Courage and daring are coursing through your veins. You were made to live and love with your whole heart. It’s time to show up and be seen.
… yet there ways to support yourself through the changes. To be more you than you’ve ever been before even.
I run workshops for the local community on health and wellbeing, and the next series will cover how to take bold, positive forward steps into the second half of one’s life.

- Sleep and insomnia
- Empty nests
- Pain management
- Moods and hormones
- Anger management
- Intuitive eating, body image and motivation to exercise
More information & bookings
If you’d like more information, please email me using the contact form; I’d love to hear from you.
The best way to stay in the loop regarding workshops is via my newsletter (you can sign up on the right); then you will be the first to hear when and where they are.
I keep these groups to 15-20 people, so bookings are essential.
